Our parish core team held its first meeting to implement the planned merger of Sacred Heart and Holy Maternity. Led by our Convener Fr. Hugh Bradley our core team members are Rebecca Barnes, Patrick Bocchiccio, Connie Buttil, Ann Marie Granato, Ed & Patricia Nallen, Donald Ostberg, and Fred Repsik.
In an effort to keep all parishioners informed and aware of the process the core team will publish regular updates in each church’s bulletin. In addition to getting to know our fellow core team members, the purpose of our first meeting was to review the literature provided by the Diocese about the merger process. In addition, the team decided to develop a web site to post information about the merger. Our next meeting will be with the Pastor/Administrator from each parish to review facts about each present parishes history, customs and traditions.
We invite parishioners of Sacred Heart and Holy Maternity to submit their memories of the parish on history, customs and traditions. You can place them in an envelope (marked “Core Team”) and drop them at the office or in the collection basket.
